Badminton is more than a sport in Malaysia – it's part of who we are. From the Sidek Brothers to the Lee Chong Wei era, and now a new generation led by Lee Zii Jia, Ng Tze Yong, and doubles pair Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah, the Malaysian badminton spirit has never faded. At VR77, we understand that passion – which is why we've built a badminton betting experience made specifically for local fans.
Unlike other platforms that treat badminton as an afterthought with just a handful of odds lines, vr77 takes the sport seriously. We offer over 200 markets per major match – going well beyond win or lose to include set handicap, total points, first set winner, winning margin, and many more options that let you bet based on deep knowledge of the players and the match.
What our members love most is the live betting feature during matches in progress. Odds update in real time with every swing of the game – if a Malaysian player is trailing 5–12 in the first set but you believe they can turn it around, you can jump in at that very moment and grab favourable odds. That's what makes watching badminton while betting at vr77 such a thrilling experience.
VR77 covers every tier of major badminton competition: Thomas Cup and Uber Cup, Sudirman Cup, BWF World Championships, the full BWF World Tour series from Super 100 to Super 1000, Malaysia Open, Malaysia Masters, and national-level tournaments. No need to go anywhere else – everything is in one platform, accessible from your phone or computer.
Many people ask – how do I get started with badminton betting at vr77? It's straightforward. Create an account in under three minutes, make your first deposit via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow or FPX, and head straight to the Badminton section. Everything is in MYR – no confusing foreign exchange rates.
For pre-match betting, you can place your bets days before a match kicks off. This gives you time to do your research, review head-to-head records between players, and assess their current form. Our Betting Tips section also publishes weekly analysis dedicated to badminton, written by experienced sports fans – not just empty numbers.
When it comes to payouts, vr77 is among the fastest in Malaysia. Won a match tonight? Withdrawals to your bank account or e-wallet can be processed in under an hour. We know waiting feels frustrating, so we prioritise fast withdrawals for all members regardless of the amount won.
Vr77 also offers special bonuses for badminton fans. From time to time, we run themed promotions during major tournaments like the Thomas Cup or Malaysia Open – including boosted odds on selected matches, exclusive deposit bonuses and badminton parlays with bonus multipliers. Keep an eye on the Welcome Bonus section for the latest updates.

Badminton isn't just about who hits harder – it's about strategy, stamina and a player's mental state. Here are a few basic tips before you start:
Head-to-head history between two players matters a great deal. Some players consistently struggle against certain opponents regardless of ranking.
A player competing in two matches on the same day may be fatigued by the second. Factor this into your analysis.
Some players perform better on certain courts. Malaysian players tend to be more comfortable playing on home soil.
A minor wrist or knee injury can significantly affect a player's performance without necessarily stopping them from competing.
If you're confident a strong player will win comfortably, set handicap betting offers better value than a straight match winner bet.
All information you provide during registration and use of the vr77 platform – including your name, phone number, email and payment details – is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption.
